Training course for responsible beginners to ski touring

This introductory ski touring course will give you the foundations you need to get started safely in ski touring. You’ll learn, step by step, how ski touring works – from the right kit, trail-breaking and technique, right through to planning, avalanche awareness and safe behaviour in the backcountry.

On easy, enjoyable ski tours, we combine practical experience with theory so that you build up lasting knowledge and gain confidence.

A skier ascends a snowy mountain trail, wearing green ski pants, an orange jacket, and goggles. The landscape features a clear blue sky and snow-covered mountains in the background, showcasing a winter sports scene.
Two skiers, dressed in bright winter gear, are studying a map while surrounded by snow-covered mountains. Their skis are visible in the foreground, and the clear blue sky is overhead. The scene suggests an exploration or navigation activity in a mountainous area.
