Deep-snow courses & freeriding in Kühtai and the Sellraintal valley

From the slopes into the powder snow

On our deep-snow courses in Kühtai and the Sellrain Valley, you’ll learn to ski off-piste safely, efficiently and with a sense of flow – from your very first powder turn to confidently choosing your lines in the backcountry.

Learning to ski in deep snow

Safe, controlled, with a sense of flow

Freeriding is all about freedom.
At the same time, skiing in open terrain requires experience, technique and preparation.

Our deep-snow courses teach you exactly that: the right skiing technique for powder snow, tracked slopes and challenging conditions – always with a focus on safety, control and enjoyment.

We’ll show you

  • how to conserve energy
  • how to adapt your turns to the situation
  • how to read the terrain correctly

So that deep-snow skiing doesn’t just look good, but feels good too.

Who are our deep-snow courses suitable for?

Our deep-snow courses are aimed at:

  • proficient skiers who want to ski off-piste
  • teenagers, adults and mature skiers
  • Beginners to deep-snow skiing as well as ambitious off-piste skiers
Participants are expected to have a good command of skiing technique on the slopes and to be of average fitness.

Aims of our deep-snow courses

  • long, controlled turns on gentle slopes
  • Progression to steeper terrain with shorter turn radii
  • Experience a real ‘surfing sensation’ in the snow
  • more flow with less effort
  • Experience the high-end product in alpine skiing

Ideal as a stepping stone from piste skiing to ski touring or freeriding.
