Snowboarding course in Kühtai – beginners and advanced learners

The Follow me Snowboard School in Kühtai offers courses for all levels. Whether you’re stepping onto a board for the first time or want to take your technique to the next level, our motto – ‘fun and no risk’ – applies to everyone: with us, progress and fun go hand in hand.

Beginners 

This course is ideal for complete beginners, those returning to the sport, and participants on their second snowboarding course. Adults and teenagers learn together at a similar level.

Typical learning objectives for beginners:

• Getting used to the equipment and board
• First gliding and turning exercises
• Gliding on the frontside and backside edges
• Zigzagging and first turns
• Safe, slow riding in a group

In the second course, the basics are consolidated and further developed in a targeted manner.

Advanced

Are you confident on the slopes and keen to develop your skills further? Then the advanced course is just the thing for you – with a focus on technique, carving or freestyle.
 

Learning objectives for advanced riders (depending on ability level and focus)

• Improving technique, stability and board control
• Clean carving and varied riding
• Introduction to or development of freestyle elements
• Greater confidence at speed and on challenging terrain
• Personalised feedback from experienced snowboard instructors

The broad categories are as follows:

• When you register in the online shop or
• upon your arrival at the ski school reception

The assessment is based on:

• Your honest self-assessment
• Any information from the previous year, if applicable

The final assessment takes place directly on the slopes.
